The Wood Works Fair in cooperation with Beaver Brook Saw Shop in Scotland. You are invited to come to the Wood Works Fair to see Chain Saw Carving, log splitting, and axe throwing; read about Charter Oak that saved Connecticut and buy a baby CharterOak from the Ct. State Foresters, talk to tree farmers, meet residents of Goodwin Forest, talk to people from Joshua's Trust and GROW Windham, cheer on a two-man saw competition, and more!
A second part of the Wodd Works Fair will be to showcase the work of local artisans working with wood- a craft show. We solicit applications from all local art collectices such as Windham Regional Arts Council Wrac, the Ashford Arts Council, Swift Waters, Artists Open Studio, all galleries and guilds for men and women to pay a fee, come set up their displays of wood-related works, sell and keep your proceeds. all work welcome from everyday useful to fanciful.
